NYC Points

Our Professionals

Our staff is small and personal. Each practitioner has completed four years of school in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine as required under New York State law.

Fair Labor

NYC Points is dedicated to its employees. In an industry where most acupuncturists are paid part time or 1099, we are the exception. Everyone is paid a salary (the highest in the profession), plus bonus, and given free platinum health insurance. We do not employ without fair compensation and we do not use interns or assistants.

Li Ting Lin L.Ac.

Li Ting's life mission is to find the best and fastest way to heal patients. She learned both western and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the ChinaMedical University of Taiwan, earning the prestigious "Specialist in Acupuncture" in 2006. This degree is only awarded after extensive exams or 7 years of deep clinical experience. She then worked at the Taipei Veteran General Hospital where her patient load emphasized oncology, neurology, post surgical chemotherapy--and was so respected by the Neurology department that they sent her their most complicated cases. She also taught western physicians about the integrated approach. Li Ting believes in "whole person wellness." Her technique goes after the deeper cause of disease according to TCM, or Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her feeling is that life, illness and other medicine can put the body out of balance, and a good practitioner can re balance the body and create the optimum environment for healing. Much of her training emphasized this integrated approach relating to women's health issues, including fertility, PMS and menopause related issues. Li Ting has a vast range of experience working with many forms of Western defined diseases. But is not afraid to tell a patient when acupuncture can't help them as well. She believes that there is no "right" way to be healed, just healing. Lately she has been researching energy healing and meditation in an effort to find yet another modality to help her patients. She speaks four languages and even does a little ballroom dancing in her spare time.
